My work is mainly woodcuts. I am always inspired by the German Expressionists and also Mexican and American political prints of the early 20th C. Recently I have been moving into colour and finding my own language with which to comment on the current political situation.
I have also started on monotype portraits which I make from drawings in my sketchbook, and are quick but very intense to produce - a contrast to the sustained work and thinking required by woodcut prints.
