Artists >> Beaumont Anya
Based in London and Wiltshire and working in a variety of media Anya Beaumont's work is essentially sculptural and much is wall based or relief sculpture. She is particularly interested in investigating the boundaries between two and three dimensions and the links between drawing, painting and sculpture. More recently, she has undertaken a series of site-responsive works, looking at the built environment and how it affects us. She has work on permanent public display at artsdepot, North Finchley, Muswell Hill Library and Trinity Buoy Wharf in Docklands which utilises pre-used paper she has collected from local residents and institutions in the area. She also works in steel.
